Compass Community Connections Training & Transition Program

Designed to build skills based on strengths and interests.

Training & Transition Program (TNT)

The Training and Transition Program (TNT) is designed to meet the needs of students with disabilities who are motivated to build skills based on their strengths and interests. These students are individuals with the potential and desire to transition from high school to adulthood with a strong skill set that may lead to customized or supported employment, volunteering and/or independent living. Mifflin & Juniata County students in their freshman through senior years are eligible to participate.

Employment Services

Eligible adults and graduating students may qualify for Employment Services which may include Discovery, Community-Based Work Assessment, Job Development, Customized Employment and Follow-Up Services. Programs are funded through the Pennsylvania Waiver, OVR and local grants.

"Compass Community Connections envisions a community where personal dignity is honored, diversity is embraced and full inclusion for persons with disabilities is promoted in all aspects of life."
