Direct Support Professional
Compass Community Connections has an immediate opening for a Full-time Direct Support Profession to provide Community Participation & Supports for individuals in a licensed Adult Training Facility, as well as, meaningful community activities. Candidate should enjoy working as part of a team and be engaging and willing to provide a variety of supports to enhance the quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Position includes complete benefit package on day one.
Responsibilities include implementing Individual Support Plans, providing some personal care, and supporting each person according to their unique needs. Candidates must be 18 years or older with a High School diploma or equivalent, be eligible for employment in Pennsylvania including a valid social security card, have the ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and must be able to lift. Experience working in this social services field is preferred. Training will be provided. Salary range is $14-$19/hr and based on experience.
