Training & Transition Program (TNT)
The Training and Transition Program (TNT) is designed to meet the needs of students with disabilities who are motivated to build skills based on their strengths and interests. These students are individuals with the potential and desire to transition from high school to adulthood with a strong skill set that may lead to customized or supported employment, volunteering and/or independent living. Mifflin & Juniata County students in their freshman through senior years are eligible to participate.
For Parents
TNT provides students with the training needed to help them work towards self-sufficiency and independence. Students are required to have an IEP to participate in this program. To help
meet the needs of each participant, data will be kept on the individual's growth and skills. The information will be shared with the IEP team.

Preparation for life after high school is crucial. TNT will help you obtain the skills needed to develop a strong work ethic and become a contributing member of your community. Scheduled visits to local businesses will help you achieve a better understanding of various career sectors.
